Welcome Gatlin Holt Norman

This picture was taken at Outback. This was our "shower" for Nikki...which was exactly what she wanted!
Sweet baby Gatlin was born June 19th at 2:53 am. Weighing in at 7 lbs. and 2 ounces! I made it to the hospital about 3:15 am. Luckily, I was the first there to see him. He is so precious!!

Summer Time!!

Even though the Summer keeps Stephen & I VERY busy with our jobs we manage to squeeze in some FUN times with our boys!

Here is a picture of Owen at the 1st beach trip of the season! What a smile!!!
We met up with some of Stephen's side of our family at Deadwood for Dinner and some fun play time! Owen loved "hanging" like this!

Spring (very much behind)

Well...spring came and went and I still didn't get any pictures up here. Sorry...spring just happens to be when Stephen & I both kick it in full gear with our jobs so we get behind on other things! I just wanted to get a few pictures up here of the boys...they sure are growing fast; TOO FAST for me!

Stephen & I took the boys to the waterfront in Manteo for lunch and a walk one day. We had a fun time!
They are something else!!
Of course we had to make a stop by the Aquarium! Owen is a huge animal lover (were not sure where he gets that from) so he LOVED it! Stephen of course has been there many times but enjoys it still!

Spring wouldn't be complete without picking strawberries. Stephen doesn't care very much for them but Owen couldn't stop eating them!

For Mother's Day Stephen got me 2 picnic tables. One for us and one for the boys! We have all enjoyed them! The boys could eat outside every night.

Stephen's 1st Livestock Show!

This was Stephen's 1st year of being old enough to compete in the Livestock Show & Sale. He and his goat Parker enjoyed themselves for the 60 days they were together. Actually our whole family especially Stephen & Owen fell in love with Parker! Stephen did so good at the show; we were very proud of him! Needless to say he was one sad little boy when it was time to depart with Parker. But, he says next year "I'm getting another goat and I'm gona name it Parker Jr."!

Owen's 1st Hair Cut...

It felt like it took forever for Owen to get any hair. But, the time has now come for a hair cut!! He didn't need very much cut off.. but he did need a "shape up"! It appears Owen is going to have curly hair so I was very sad to cut those curls off. But, he did such an excellent job! Please excuse me in these pictures. I was getting my hair foiled so we thought Owen would sit better in my lap!

Owen sure is growing mighty fast these days. Its hard to believe that we have already had his very First Hair Cut. He sure does make my heart melt each and every day!

What a group of silly boys!!

This year Stephen decided he wanted to have his birthday party at Pizza Hut. His Dad and I were quite happy to hear that!! Since Karli's birthday is only 2 days behind his we met her and her girls at Pizza Hut so we would have an even bigger crowd! So, his buddies came over after school to play for a couple of hours before headed out for some Pizza! We had a great time!!

It is so hard to believe that he is 6 years old! When Stephen & I started dating he had barely turned 2. He is such a sweet boy and quite smart if I may add so myself! Happy Birthday baby.. we love you to the moon and back!
