Baby Update...

Well, nothing really big to report in the baby news line. As of today I am 34 weeks and 2 days pregnant!! But hey, who is counting!! My blood pressure was high on Christmas Eve so they had to run a few test. I went back this past Monday and all test seemed to be fine. So, hopefully were all set for these last few weeks! I go back next week so we'll see if anything changed in a week!! I am very thankful for a very happy and healthy pregnancy so far! Here's to the last weeks being just as good!!

Little Stephen is getting very eager to meet his new brother/sister. He has his fingers crossed for a girl. But, I don't think that will happen. If this baby comes out a girl we will all be very shocked!

Stephen has been great as usual. Having to live with a pregnant woman doesn't seem to be very fun but he has handled it well!! I am very thankful to have a loving and supportive husband and I probably don't tell him often enough! I am getting very spoiled here lately. I hope all of this continues when the baby arrives!!

Santa Came!!

We got Stephen at 1:00 pm this year and he was anxious to see what Santa brought!

Getting the Wii all set up!!
He got a BB gun with some targets... (Scary, I know)

Of course he had to get some Transformer attire!!

Merry Christmas!!

Stephen and I went to my Mom's house Christmas morning for breakfast and to exchange gifts. I'm not sure if we'll continue this next year when we have Lil' Stephen home and a 10 month old. We'll see!!

(Please excuse my appearance; I am 33 weeks prego!!)

Christmas Eve...

Every year for Christmas Eve my family piles into my Grandparents for a wonderful time! Needless to say this year was no different! Here is a picture of my Grandparents. They are two of the sweetest people I know!! We always eat until we could literally pop and then open a few presents. Then some of my Grandad's family come over for a visit! It is always a special night!

Merry Christmas!!

We always give Stephen a couple of presents to open on Christmas Eve. This year we wont get Stephen until Christmas Day so he got to open a couple of gifts last night! He was so excited... Having to wait to open those presents under the tree is very hard for a 4 year old!

He got a new pair of pajamas and a "Big Brother" ornament!

Stephen's Play...

Stephen had his play at church Sunday; he was a shepard! He loves being "on stage"!

Congrats Jenny & Scott

Congratulations Jenny and Scott!! Saturday Jenny and Scott tied the knot! They had a beautiful wedding day. The snow during the rehearsal made it extra special!! Here are a few pictures that I was able to get.

Here is a picture of me and my hubby!!
These guys had so much fun over the weekend! They love to spend time together!

We were able to catch the busy bride and get a few pictures!!

Cake time:)

Our Clan!
Best wishes to you both!

Party Time!!

This past Friday Stephen had his Christmas Party at school. I was able to be off work and go with him which is always fun! Those kids get so excited during party time! We had to rush off to head to Raleigh for Aunt Jenny's wedding festivities but we had a great time!!

Welcome Baby Hollis!!

I'm so excited to show off my new niece; Ms. Hollis! William and Krystle had a healthy baby girl weighing 8 lb. 1 oz. & 20 1/2 inches long this afternoon! We were all so excited and could not wait to find out what they were having. They were a bit surprised that is was a girl so they are still working on the name!

What a proud Mommy!!
Aunt Lara, the proud Aunt that will be a pro when she becomes a Mommy!

Stephen and Karli are so excited!!

Uncle Stephen with the baby!!

Me and that sweet precious girl!

Little Stephen thought she was just "adorable"!

Congratulations William, Krystle, & Karli!! Love you all:)

The Big Day...

Karli spent the night with us last night (Tuesday night) because her Mommy and Daddy were headed to the hospital this morning to have the baby. Look how excited they were when I dropped them off at daycare this morning! They knew the baby was coming soon!!

Stephen's Field Trip!

I had the opportunity to go with Stephen on his class field trip Tuesday. We had so much fun! I figure I better go now and enjoy as much one on one time as I can with Stephen before the baby gets here and the attention gets split! Stephen says I can go on all the field trips and we can leave "that baby" home with Daddy! First we went to the museum, then the planetarium, and then Pizza Inn. Krystle was able to go too and Stephen & Karli actually rode with us; so we all had a great day together!

Here is his class at the museum!

Spruill Christmas Gathering!

Every year it is a different grandchild's turn to host this gathering. This year it just so happened to be mine and Stephen's turn! We had a grand total of 20 people over including 5 happy and playful children! Here is a picture that Krystle happened to get of Stephen and Karli! These two are never apart if they can help it at all...

River Town Christmas!!

Columbia had it's annual River Town Christmas this past weekend! We hung out with Krystle and Karli all weekend long which meant Stephen and Karli were two very happy kids! Friday night we went to the waterfront to enjoy the flotilla.

Santa arriving by boat!!

Santa passing out candy!

Stephen with Santa!!

Karli's turn with Santa!

Saturday night we went to Mike's Kitchen for dinner. Stephen asked Krystle if he could have her lemon and this was his initial reaction!! Of course.. he ended up eating the whole thing!!

30 Weeks and Counting...

Just to give you a little prego update!! As of last Wednesday (December 2nd) I was 30 weeks pregnant! Thank the good Lord!! All in all it has been a wonderful experience. However, one I'm ready to end at this point!!

We started childbirth classes last Tuesday night which was quite interesting! Thank God were the only couple in the class because I have plenty of questions! Did you know that Chowan County Hospital (to this ladies knowledge) has never "mixed" up baby's!! We have three more classes to go so I'll keep you posted on anymore interesting facts!!

Christmas Tree Time!!

I'm kind of late blogging this but.... We got our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving Eve! Stephen and Little Stephen of course picked out the biggest tree I think they had at the place. It is 9 ft. tall and was very interesting getting it inside the house. However, it looks beautiful now!

Thanksgiving Dinner!

For Thanksgiving Dinner we head to Bulls Bay to eat with Stephen's family! This year is especially special for Krystle and I because we are both pregnant! It is so nice to be able to complain along with someone instead of doing all the complaining by yourself! Krystle and I are due 6 weeks apart but I'm predicting she will go early and of course I'll go late! However, these two little bundle of joy's will be very close indeed. Neither of us know what were having but of course everyone has their own predictions!

Our bellies just "hanging" out there!!
